In the 'Gimme' visuals, Sam Smith, Koffee, and Jessie Reyez get sultry

Sam Smith has released a music video for their new single “Gimme,” which features Koffee and Jessie Reyez. The video, which will be released on Friday, January 13, depicts three musicians getting sultry in a nightclub.

“Voyeurs are watching us/ Giving me such a rush,” the 30-year-old sings in their verse. “When I’m crazy and drunk on love/ Gimme what I want, gimme what I want,” the Grammy-winning artist continues.

Concerning the song, which they dubbed “”I’m a sexual person, I like sex,” Sam explained. It’s something I’m learning not to be ashamed of.” “Me and Jessie were basically drunk, drinking whisky in Jamaica, two in the morning, running around absolutely wasted, like two girlfriends having a laugh,” the British native continued.

“I was belligerent one night, and then apparently we made this,” Jessie added in a brief statement.

Sam’s upcoming album “Gloria” will include “Gimme,” as well as previously released singles “Love Me More” and “Unholy” with Kim Petras. The project will be released on January 27th.

“It feels like emotional, sexual, and spiritual liberation,” the album’s non-binary musician said. “It was wonderful to be able to sing freely again with this album. Surprisingly, it feels like my first record. And it has the feel of a coming of age.”

The album, which is a follow-up to 2020’s “Love Goes”, is led by Sam’s hit single “Unholy”. They told Entertainment Tonight about the song: “It’s a crazy song. It’s a one-song theater show, and I’m very proud of it.”

“I believe it is time for my villain era to begin. It’s time to get sexy, “They went into greater detail. “My life has been in transition for the past three years. I turned 30, and I think I know what I want to say now, and I think I know who I am a little better, and I’m ready to have some fun.”
